Nice operation with a lot of Big Bear cabins to choose from. We used one of their lakefront properties for our family of 16 for a December getaway and were very pleased overall. Arrival: Property was clean, parking was exactly as described (convenient parking for 4 cars outside plus one more inside a garage with direct access to the cabin and a workout area). The cabin was available a few hours early so they texted us to let us know. We didn't even have to stop by the office--just went directly to the cabin and used the code they texted us. Destination Big Bear's approach: They seem well organized, helpful, and positive. When we encountered a challenge or needed info they were just a text or phone call away. Helpful texts arrived at just the right time with needed info. All the staff seemed to be doing their best to make sure we enjoyed our stay, and Travis really was especially helpful. The City of Big Bear has strict regulations, especially regarding noise, and Destination Big Bear did a great job keeping us informed so we didn't incur a fine. If you want to party outside or even inside after 10 pm, any cabin in the City of Big Bear would be a bad fit. But for us, it was a fun and memorable time in a gorgeous mountain setting with great hosts. Can't wait to go back!

Destination Big Bear offers a great rental experience from start to finish. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. All rental instructions were clear and properly communicated. The property itself was well kept and any in-progress maintenance issues were clearly marked. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was in working order. An absolutely seamless experience and would recommend them to anyone searching for a rental in Big Bear.
