We came to Destination Big Bear for a work-related event and it was truly spectacular. Lots of bedrooms for a big group and a movie room that could double as a small conference room. Huge dining table that could seat our entire party and so many balconies. The game rooms and putt putt golf were also nice additions, but the spectacular house overlooking the mountains and lake were the top tier thing. We could've stayed in the house the entire time because of how beautiful and peaceful it was, but it is also right next to Big Bear Village and the lake and it was very easy to be able to go to and from restaurants and the lake. Would 100% recommend this place for friends, family, work, anything. It's a truly peaceful getaway for city folks like us. Destination Big Bear is also highly responsive to all messages and the front desk at the main office was extremely nice. Truly 5-star experience!

We had a wonderful time at the Mountain Masterpiece property in Big Bear. The location of the property couldn't have been better! Amazing views of the lake from the kitchen, main dining room, and top floor outdoor areas. Amazing master suite and bathroom, and all the room you and your family will need to relax in style in the mountains. The house is within easy walking distance of the Village shops, the main Big Bear marina, and an approx. 2-minute drive to the Magic Mountain amusement park (highly recommend the Mineshaft Coaster). On general house details, be forewarned of lots of stairs with 3 levels, but a beautiful and spacious home. Also, the separate studio/suite is above the garage and feels quite separate from the main home - could be good or bad depending on your needs. While we were there (at the height of summer) we had an A/C issue at the house, but the amazing staff at Destination Big Bear delivered and got us back up and running in no time. A big shout out to Renee, Travis and Dylan for their great service and follow-up. Another important point, while not a major issue in summer, it should be noted how the single lane road up to the house is quite steep, and there's a very steep and awkward turn into the main driveway to the home. Even with chains or proper tires, this should be considered when renting this home anytime there's any amount of snow or ice present.
