Great cabin!

Jul 17, 2026

My family wanted to plan a special birthday experience for my upcoming milestone birthday in September. They asked me to decide where I would like to go and what I would like to do. I chose Big Bear because I have never been there. I started to explore Airbnbs and came upon Destination Big Bear. I decided to look into renting an Airbnb, this would be my first experience to do so. There are quite a few Airbnbs at Big Bear, I ended up choosing this one because the pics looked perfect. The reservation experience was very good, communication was prompt and friendly. Upon arriving to the home, I was very pleasantly surprised how pretty the home is and its location to Big Bear Lake. The house is clean. A big plus for me is its open floor plan upstairs with the large picture windows, this makes for an entertainer friendly gathering. Sunrise was quite lovely to watch from the decks whether upstairs or downstairs. I highly recommend this beautiful home and Destination Big Bear!

We had a wonderful stay and loved the views! The deck was great for launching paddelboards and fishing. The kitchen was large and great for cooking in! Great for kids-games, fishing, swimming/floating in lake, and the bunk beds. Will definitely recommend and come back.
