Foothill Lodge Booked for 10/26-10/28 Exactly as described: -Perfect choice for our group (there are more high end, and less end, this was the perfect middle. gorgeous cabin that houses 16, modern wooden cabin style on the outside/a bit more modest inside but the rooms were spacious and big as the have more queen doubles than other cabins. small but decent kitchen (although the past visitors didnt scrub the pans good at all), ping pong and pool table and a very tiny toy foosball table for 2, not a big one so fyi. no central heat but the heat panels warm the place up well. And lastly, best location. a 2 minute walk to The Village and a 5-7 minute walk to the Lake (just a haf block up Big Bear Blvd). -Communication with owner/team was cordial, and prompt.The whole team and agents were cool cats. Nick the owner was kind to give a late checkout and seems passionate about his operation. REMEMBER every review has its own story, dont generalize 1 groups complaint. Got the deposit returned a week later. -They have great prices, deals on off-peak weekends like we snatched (25% off cabin), and a whole range of cabins from luxury to non.
