Our Happy customer’s reviews
This place is AMAZING. We’ve been renting cabins in Big Bear for 20+ years and now I’m completely spoiled by the “on the slopes” experience with this place. Walk to the lift, hit a couple runs, come back and make breakfast, hit a few more runs, come back and enjoy lunch, hit a few more! No parking lot fiasco! So great! Place is spacious and clean. Has a large couch for the whole family to lounge and watch movies. Coffee on the front deck and watch the kiddos snowboard! If this spot ever goes on the market for sale I’ll be first in line! Downsides: Beds are hard as rocks. Got a few sleepless nights.. The furnace and ductwork are really bad. Temps are wildly uneven. One room is ice cold the other is on fire. The furnace would overshoot the desired temp by what it seemed like 10-15 degrees. Overall I would have a tough time renting another cabin in Big Bear for snow season knowing this rental exists and how convenient the location was to the resort.

Dec 28, 2023Nice place to stay. If you are planning to ski Big Bear Mountain, it is just across the street. House was well furnished and comfortable. An otherwise 5-star experience was tarnished by the fact that the smoke alarms in the house went off repeatedly (even when we weren't cooking). The alarms continued to blare for quite a while, giving everyone a headache, and we finally decided to cut our holiday short and go home early. We probably could have solved the problem by disconnecting all the alarms, but we didn't feel safe doing that in someone else's home and running the risk of a real fire. Aside from the problem with the smoke alarms, we enjoyed the house, and the internet and TV were good and there was a large kitchen table where we played board games. House is about 10 minute drive from several grocery stores.

Dec 20, 2023Wonderful, cozy cabin right across from the Bear Mountain slopes! Great place to have Thanksgiving with the family. The cabin was clean, and exactly as pictured. Would definitely stay again.
