It’s a nice cozy little cabin but it needs a lot of general maintenance. The baseboards are falling off and there are cracks in the drywall. The kitchen could use updated drink ware and some nice throw blankets would really make the chilly nights and mornings more cozy. Good for the price and location, but I don’t know if I would book again as the neighbors dogs wouldn’t stop barking at us.

We enjoyed our late summer visit! I enjoyed laying in the hammock in the backyard and listening to the birds and the wind rustle through the trees. We were a group of 5 and had plenty of room and bathrooms for all of us. Although the bunks aren't big enough for adults, they would be perfect for smaller children. The couch was really comfortable to hang out on and we liked eating outside on the back deck table. If we had more time, we would have used the front porch fire pit and bbq. Heidi's was a great place to stay for this trip. Happy we found it!

Heidi-Haus was a great location for our needs during our current trip to Big Bear. We were a group of 4 with a dog and the bedrooms and living space was all in great shape. The yard was good for our dog and there was lots of easy walking to explore with him. The location served our needs being a little away from downtown while it was busy, but easy access. We skied several days and easy access to the mountain. There are a few restaurants that are an easy walk and a market only 2 blocks away. The amenities of the location were great - don’t miss out on the hot tub or the game table! The host was very communicative and proactive with notes on access and checkout as well as just checking in - which was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and both the location and management for the property. Thank you!
