Checkin was easy : get the lockbox code at their office. Checkout is easier : just leave the key in the lockbox and you're done. The cabin was great: 2 bedrooms downstairs with each their own bathroom, then living room, dining room and open kitchen upstairs with balcony to enjoy the sun on both floors. The fireplace was wonderful to use in the evening (just need to get your own wood). The heater worked fine but the warm air travels mostly to the top floor so it was chilly downstairs. Thankfully, the blankets kept us all warm at night. The kitchen is well equipped: dishware, paper napkins, tablets for the dishwasher, basic ingredients like salt pepper oil sugar spices mustard and ketchup. The cabin is by the foot of the big bear mountain ski slopes, just a 5 min walk to cross the golf course and parking lot. You can see the ski resort from the balcony.
