I would stay in this cabin again. The pictures did not do this place justice. There are so many details in the home and you can tell its newly renovated and maintained well. <b>Great customer service from Destination Big Bear. They reply quickly, clear responses, very accommodating due to scheduling, open early/close late, and answered all my questions.</b> We are a big family of 7 with: a baby, a dog, and 3 cars. I loved that this location is dog friendly; we all fit very comfortably. If you are taking a dog, not to worry, the back yard is fully fenced so your family can hang out there with no worry your pooch will take off, but don't forget your dog's bed (honestly, its just made my dog feel like she was at home...same thing for the baby. Take a blanket or a pillow from home so the scent makes your baby feel at home; trust me its a real thing). This location is right off of Big Bear Blvd. so there are places near by like McDonald's, 7Eleven, Denny's, Walgreens, Petco, Starbucks, and a few grocery stores like Vons and Stater Bros. You can walk to the local park/lake/dog park, but if you want to hike you have to drive about 10 minutes to the closest trail. If you download the "AllTrails" app you can see which ones are near at different levels of intensity. Over all, my stay here was great!

Amazing location walking distance to the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and spacious living room to play board games.
